Greenville County Youth Participate in College Visits
On June 27, 2013, 46 high school students from throughout Greenville County participated in college tours hosted at Winthrop University and USC Upstate as part of the Greenville REC and SC Works Greenville Youth Council College Access Program. The students were provided with an opportunity to view a campus dorm room and several other facilities on the campuses. Additionally the students were provided with an opportunity to eat lunch at Winthrop University. The Department of Admissions provided the students with an informational session on the admissions process, scholarships, campus life, and Greek fraternities and sororities.
