State Superintendent-elect praises Greenville Tech Charter High for National Blue Ribbon Award

Not that they didn’t already know it, but hearing it from the state’s newly elected superintendent of education and a high-ranking official of the U.S. Department of Education drove the point home to students: Greenville Tech Charter High is an awesome school.

The school, which won a National Blue Ribbon Award earlier this year for its high academic achievements, celebrated the accomplishment Monday with a visit from Mick Zais, the state superintendent of education-elect, and Denis Bega
